Brampton Branch

Eric has been an Optometrist seeing patients in Brampton since 1984, and is well known in the local area. In 2004 the opportunity arose to open a second Practice with business partner Christine, initially near Moot Hall, and then to larger premises in Market Place.

We were joined by Optical Assistants Carol Ratcliffe and Anne Brown, and Audrey Sewell and Jill Jennings complete the team. Our Dispensing Optician Mike Rice joined us in 2015, adding his great enthusiasm and knowledge to the Practices. Our aim remains to provide a friendly and professional local service encouraging better eyecare and eye health in the heart of the local community.

Eric has been a fully qualified Optometrist for over 30 years and has a specialist postgraduate qualification in Ocular Therapeutics following clinical training at the Cumberland Infirmary, and can prescribe licenced medications for conditions affecting the eye. He and Mike work across both Practices and have a wealth of experience and expertise.

After 16 years we still follow the same principles of high quality products and exceptional service, and we are fortunate to have a super team of friendly and knowledgeable staff who will go out of their way to help with your eyecare and eyewear needs. Our patients travel from all around the local area and Northumberland to see us, and we greatly value their loyalty and feedback on their care and health needs.

We have a wide and select range of frames including Silhouette, Kate Spade, Bulgari, Emporio Armani, Versace, Johann Von Goisern. We provide a range of specialist spectacle lenses to meet every visual need and purpose.

We can provide single vision, bifocal and varifocal lenses to every specification and eyewear for driving, sportswear and safety spectacles for when specific eye protection is needed.

Our goal is to provide a local, personal and professional service and we look forward to welcoming you to the Brampton Practice.
